The 'Readings' Series

Reading involves interpretation of sounds, symbols, and sometimes signs. Several paintings in this series focus on palm reading. Astrological signs are visually very attractive, quite apart from their mysterious connotations. One or two paintings incorporate ancient texts which are almost impossible to read nowadays, so that their effect becomes purely visual.
